Chelation Therapy
Chelation Therapy is a very safe, clinically effective
medical treatment that has been in use for over 40
years. It involves a chelating agent called EDTA, an
amino acid complex that binds to toxic heavy metals
in the body. EDTA also binds to ionic calcium such as
the type found in plaque. EDTA Chelation is given
intravenously. After a physical evaluation and laboratory
analysis the amount of treatments necessary is
determined. Typically Chelation therapy is used for
circulatory disorders such as: heart disease,
claudication, and carotid artery disease. Many articles
have been published and many books have been
written about the benefits of Chelation therapy
including one by: Elmer Cranton, M.D., a cardiologist,
called “Bypassing Bypass Surgery”.
